1. Remove the shift boot by pulling on the bottom frame - pull it towards the front and it will dislodge easily. Lift the boot up and through it, grab the shift knob. Yank it up to remove it from the shifter. |

3. If you have access to a heavy-duty staple gun, staple the new boot to the frame. Failing that, we recommend using glue. Contact cement is ideal, make sure it's not an instant glue but one that allows to make adjustments before it fully cures. If you don't have experience with glues, a brush-on glue is simpler to work with than spray glue, in most cases. |

Useful tip You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking. |
