Why bother with a custom steering wheel cover?

Over time, steering wheel covers have become our most recognizable products. Back in 2012,we were market leaders with DIY (Do-It-Yourself) steering wheel covers that covered not just the rim of the wheel, but were complete steering wheel covers - rim and spokes, all the way to the airbag/button trims. Way different than cheap sew-on covers that covered only the outer rim. At first we thought it wouldn't work - it seemed next to impossible to make it relatively easy for a typical driver with no upholstery experience to align and install a custom steering wheel cover properly. Fortunately we were wrong and you guys turned out to be really good at this! It really is not easy to wrap the steering wheel yourself and make it look good but you guys rock! Some of the pictures you guys send make it impossible even for us to discern a great DIY project from professional installation (and we should know - we do offer professional steering wheel cover installation for our steering wheel covers)!

There are many reasons buying a steering wheel cover makes perfect sense. The looks, for one. To make your interior look nice and clean, to be a finishing touch of your build. To replace the bare urethane cheap-looking wheel with a leather one. With a racing stripe to give your steering wheel cover a more sporty feel. Upgraded with our optional thumb-grips and/or padding, making a flimsy wheel thick and beefy.
