shift boot installation guide

1. Hold inner ring at the top of old shift boot in place while turning shift knob counter-clockwise, then twisting it to remove shift knob.

2. Carefully lift mounting plate from console.

3. Separate mounting plate from old shift boot and it's inner mounting plate.

4. Wrap edges of new shift boot around inner mounting plate so that tabs overlap as shown, then slide boot and inner plate into mounting plate.

5. Gently return mounting plate with new shift boot to center console. Reinstall in car.

CONGRATULATIONS - YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED YOUR NEW LEATHER BOOTS!

Useful tip

You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
