1. Remove shifter knob. Factory one should just screw off to
anti-clockwise toremove.

2. Remove Centre trim Assembly by gently lifting from the rear, Clips
should release and allow it to come free. (**NOTE This is easier if shift lever
placed in second gear **)

3. When removing centre assembly be aware of the attached wiring loom
to the cigarette lighter assembly. This can be removed by a simple depress at
the plug assembly of a locking clip.

|
4. Remove the four screws holding the shift boot ring in place, be
careful not to strip the plastic that the screws are fixed too on un-assembly
and installation.

5. Remove the shift boot assembly from the surround. Then remove the
old shift boot from the plastic support ring and install your new leather shift
boot. Take Care that the locating holes are the correct orientation.

6. Install the new shift boot assembly into the plastic surround.
|
 |
|
7. Re-install the four screws to secure it in place. Re-assemble the
complete centre assembly with the new shift boot assembly in the reverse of the
removal procedure.

8. Gently move the boot assembly down over the gear shaft and fold the
top edges into the plastic supporting ring. Once this is completed you can
re-install the gear shift knob and your task is complete.

Useful tip
You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
