2008-15 CHEVROLET CRUZE
shift boot installation guide

Looking for a Chevrolet Cruze shift boot? We offer the best ones out there!

1. First remove the shift knob by unscrewing it counter-clockwise.

2. Lift up the boot. Just pull one edge of the boot and the frame it's attached to will pop out. Detach the frame from the boot and install it onto the RedlineGoods boot. Factory design is stapled to the frame, you can either staple back (if you have a staple gun that's sturdy enough) or glue - use an epoxy-based glue for plastic and leather - you can find many of those in your local hardware store.

3. Flip the boot inside-out, detach the shifter reverse lock-out from the boot. The reverse lockout is held in by friction - it slides into the boot, and is held in by ridges in the shaft.Install it in the new boot - to put it in, you need to slide the boot over the first two notches on the top.

Re-install everything in the reverse order of removal. To put the bottom frame back in, you just line it up and press it in until it snaps into place. It makes an audible sound when it’s in place

Useful tip

You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
